Road Department News

 

 

The Road Department is comprised of two (2) full-time employees, two (2) part-time summer employees, and three (3) part-time snowplow operators. The Department is responsible for the maintenance and safety of all public Township properties including three (3) cemeteries. They are also responsible for selling grave spaces in the three (3) cemeteries which includes McMillen Cemetery (River Road), Main Street Cemetery (Main Street and Bogart Road), and Scott Cemetery (Huron-Avery Road).

The Road Department office hours are:
“Winter period” (Labor Day - Memorial Day) 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
“Summer Period” (Memorial Day to Labor Day) 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
